Tritiya Sopan Camp for Scouts & Guides @ DHQ, Mysore 28,29 & 30th June 2013 🏕️ Tritiya Sopan Camp – Mysuru (28–30 June 2013) The Tritiya Sopan Camp for Scouts and Guides, held at the District Headquarters (DHQ), Mysuru from 28th to 30th June 2013, was a key milestone event for participants progressing to the Third Step in the Scouting and Guiding journey. This camp focused on advanced skill development, leadership training, and practical learning, preparing participants for higher levels of achievement. 🎯 Camp Activities & Training Participants engaged in a structured program based on Bharat Scouts and Guides guidelines, including: 🛠️ Pioneering & Campcraft Advanced knots (e.g., Fireman’s Chair Knot) Tent pitching and improvised shelters Practical campcraft techniques 🚑 First Aid Training CPR and emergency response Treatment of shock, fainting, and fractures Hands-on medical assistance skills 🧭 Outdoor Skills Outdoor cooking over open fire Map reading (RF, contour lines) Estimation of heights and distances 🥾 Hikes & Expeditions Participation in a day hike Maintaining a detailed activity log 🔥 Cultural Activities Grand Campfire sessions Skits, songs, and dances by patrols Promoting team spirit and unity 🌟 Significance of the Camp 🎖️ Advancement:Successful completion enables Scouts and Guides to earn the Tritiya Sopan Badge, worn on the uniform as a mark of achievement 🚀 Next Step:This stage is a mandatory milestone before progressing to the Rajya Puraskar (Governor’s Award), requiring continued service and experience 🌍 Impact The camp helped participants: Build confidence and leadership skills Gain advanced practical knowledge Strengthen teamwork and discipline Prepare for higher achievements in Scouting and Guiding

Orgd by Paraside Scout Group & Pragathi Guide Group 🏕️ Kunti Betta Camp – 8–9 October 2011 The camp held at Kunti Betta, near Pandavapura, on 8th–9th October 2011 was a memorable outdoor experience for the Paradise Scout Group and Pragathi Guide Group.
